At PACE Forwarding, we recently had the pleasure of transporting a brand-new Mercedes-Benz fire truck. The journey started in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, and ended in Le Nieuwerkerk, The Netherlands. This trip was not just a routine transport job – it was an adventure that showcased our expertise in heavy equipment transport.
The journey began on July 9th when we loaded the fire truck onto a double lowbed trailer in Bielsko-Biała. The route was meticulously planned to ensure the truck’s safe arrival in The Netherlands. Our team considered every detail, from the best roads to take to the most efficient border crossings. On July 12th we successfully unloaded the fire truck in Le Nieuwerkerk.
For this particular transport, we used a double lowbed trailer. This type of trailer is perfect for heavy equipment transport, as it can handle large, bulky items with ease. The double lowbed design ensures that the cargo stays stable during the journey, reducing the risk of damage. Using the right equipment is crucial for a job like this, and our choice of trailer played a significant role in the smooth execution of the transport.
